Stay in sac, get drunk and jerk off with your other hand. It will feel like someone else is doing it.

Sorry I just don't see the point in spending a bunch of money on clothes to look professional in a fairly non-professional setting, having to deal with alot of extra stress, have a company phone that becomes your wireless leash, not getting paid enough for it, basically doing your boss's job, basically being the dept *****. Sorry, but I work smart not hard.

I've been there and have tried and it doesn't get you anywhere half the time. If anything you get a crapload of more work dumped on yourself and I'm not in it to be over stressed. Work STAYS at work for me.

See, you're not being smart. I work above my pay grade and well beyond my job description, because it's making me indispensable to my employers. Sometimes working hard is working smart.

All the experts say that dressing better than your pay grade makes you stand out, makes you look like you're more professional, willing and ready to advance. Besides, taking on the extra responsibiilty like your buddy has is what gets you promoted, or gives you experience for your resume in order to get better jobs at other companies.

Just for fun, ask me how I went from helpdesk loser to Engineer with no college degree..
