2012-14 Impreza 2.0i Ecu Tune!
Hope all is well, Step right up and gain some hp/tq
I bought a 2014 Impreza 2.0i last year and have created a solid solution. If you own a 2012-14 you already know they are weak on power and aftermarket support is minimal. I figured if the aftermarket couldn't support me I would support myself. After 14k miles of testing and tinkering I am proud to share with you all an ECU Piggy back 100% plug and play, no cutting or crazy hack jobs at all! The ecu is NOT written onto, 100% untraceable zero footprint setup. No need to worry about warranty debates. Installs in 15 minutes.
I am reaching out to people that are interested. I am using a Unichip signal processor (a simple but fancy piggy back) I was able to make 7-8% increase in hp and torque. Not a lot but just enough to notice and help give a little extra passing power with zero bolt on's. On the unichip.us website they already offer a BRZ tune and kit that makes decent gains, so I asked myself why can't I do something similar, and I did. After weeks of reading, tinkering, bugging Unichip and 7 hours on a frickin dyno I was able to make some leeway.
I bit the bullet and spent more money and time than I ever expected but I am happy with the outcome(my wife, not so much..) but I would love to hear from anyone interested.
PM, Text or call 713-820-5361 to chat if your interested. My name is Jeremiah, I am currently back in school, an engineering student at the University of Houston, previous Porsche Bronzemeister Technician and ASE L1 Master Technician..
I have clocked just under 15k miles on it since I sorted out the tuning and all is well. I have dyno graphs to support the modification. The setup I can supply comes already tuned for your preference of 89 octane or less and 91 or greater octane fuel and all the bits needed to safely install it. The piggy back is not locked and can be re-tuned, modified by any Unichip dealer.
Pricing looks like $430 each or $405 if I can purchase the hardware from unichip in groups of 5 or more quantity..
PM, Text, call 713-820-5361 or email jmanxyz1234@gmail.com to get dyno graphs and spreadsheet of hp/tq. gains.
Installation will require a screw driver and pliers.
