Spotify problem?

Please direct me if I'm in the wrong forum or if this issue has been addressed already, I've tried to search but can't find anything. but does anyone else have issues with having Spotify play out of the stock system? (2016 STI)

Are you trying to use Aha? Bluetooth? USB?

I'm having an issue where even though my phone is connected as an audio device, the Pandora icon won't light up for use unless I have it plugged in via USB - and then it plays as Pandora rather than USB. I've tried deleting and re-adding the phone, clearing profiles, deleting and reinstalling the app, etc. no idea.

I've tried using everything. The odd thing about my Spotify was that the info shows up on the screen but no audio is coming out, just some static feedback sometimes.
and i wasn't even much of a pandora fan ever. but now i have no choice but to use it.I haven't had many issues with Pandora. I usually plug my phone in anyways, and it automatically starts up Pandora.

Had that happen to me just the other day - wasn't on mute or anything, info showed up (Pandora), no audio (but also no static feedback). I was connected through bluetooth audio but had plugged in through USB to charge, and I think the system got confused. Simply switching inputs to Pandora did the trick and it picked up on the same song at the same point, and switching back to bluetooth after that maintained the same song and worked as normal.

Wow I was curious to try Spotify again because I haven't tried it since I bought the car. Just tried right now, and it's working. I guess the system did get confused at first ! Thank you!
