Water flowing noise
im driving a old 89 toyota cressida. i got this little noise problem, but so far i dont know why it happens and it looks like its not effecting the car anyways. heres my situation
1. happens in cold weather (mornings, night)
2. when i give it a little gas, i can hear this wooshing/gargling sound. i think its most likely being the collant.
example: ill start my car in the mornings to go to school and ill back up my driveway. as i give it a little gas, you can hear the collant(maybe) being gargled/wooshing around. once i hit higher throttle, or rpm, it fades away. then ill come to a stop sign and acclerrate, again i can hear the wooshing/gargling sound comming from the engine. but once the engine is all nice and warmed up, the noise thing goes away.
im i missing a chuck of knowledge about motors? is this a major problem? whats going on. can anyone shed some light onto this. its like a mystery for me.

My WRX has done the exact same thing on a few ocassions. Topping off with distilled water and/or coolant makes the problem go away. You probably have a little bubble in your system, and once the temp/pressure goes up in the system, you no longer hear the noise.
