Just wondering if any in the Colorado area has put down a deposit for an STI, and what if any guarantees you received from the dealerships?
I put $1000 down at Shortline Subaru (first dealership and only dealership to respond to my inquires). They guaranteed me MSRP and i was able to pick my body and wheel color. I'm sixth on the list and they said they would be getting 8-10 cars.
I have $1000 down for a White w/gold BBS sedan here at Flatirons (ordered it over 2 years ago). I am no. 4 on the list and we will have the largest allocation of STis in Colorado based on WRX sales we were no. 2 in the US behind Irvine Subaru. We are getting at least the 24 preordered and expecting a few extra in the first year. I say we because I work at Flatirons so my price is a little different from everyone else but I'm sure our pricing should be competitive, especially since SOA won't be setting prices until mid March. The STi will be the performance bargain for sure!
Have you picked a color combo yet?
This will be my fourth Subaru but my first new car... as you said I can't wait either!
I went with the Silver and Gunmetal wheel combo. My buddy has a 2.5rs in the blue, so I ruled that out….plus have never been a big fan of the gold wheels…..
I’m looking forward to the Denver Auto Show in late March (19th -23rd). I’m guessing Subaru will have an STI at the show. It will be nice to get a close/first look at the car I’ve already spent a $1000 bucks on!
