2001 Blue Ridge Pearl RS coupe, Reno/NorCal
I really, really hate to sell this car, but it's the smart play for me to sell it and take care of some things that will help me out in the long term.
Basic info:
-97k miles, mostly freeway.
-5 speed
-Nothing but synthetic fluids in it since break-in.
-I'm the only owner, clean title, owned outright.
-VIN: JF1GM67571G400465 Free Carfax report shows 7 entries. that sounds about right to me, as there should be a title date, two registration records (one in CA, one in NV) and a handful of minor recalls over the years. I'm working on getting a complete copy of the report, which I'll obviously share with interested buyers. *EDIT* Saw the Carfax. Everything's cool *EDIT* The production date was June or July of 2000, and I took delivery on October 1, 2000.
-Complete mod history, lots of pictures
Positives:
-I'm putting a brand-new windshield in it asap. The current one is sand chipped, and has a crack.
-Includes Exedy clutch and lightweight flywheel, kartboy shift bushings, STi engine and tranny mounts, gold 98 RS wheels, trunk light kit, black "i" badge, and potentially some of the other mods I am currently planning on taking off. Buyer gets first dibs on everything I end up selling, at a discount.
-Rear fenders are flared, I have run 17x8.5 Volks with a +44 offset, no rubbing whatsoever.
Negatives:
-With the flared fenders, if you don't run wide tires and wheels it looks weird.
-The front bumper is deeply scratched in two places, and the paint is flaking off on a third. About 2-3 square inches gone. Also, the hood is bent. This is the result of a minor collision from last year that I never got around to fixing. I'll furnish a CF or new OE hood, and a new bumper skin if I get my asking price. With the front repaired, there would be no exterior blemishes except for a handful of minor door dings. The paint otherwise is in outstanding condition. Nearly every pic posted in my Ongoing Project thread has been taken since the damage occured, and it's nearly impossible to see, and it's nearly impossible to see in photos. It's apparent in person of course, or I wouldn't bother mentioning it.
-97k sounds like a lot of miles, but I've had zero mechanical issues, except for the infamous clutch shudder which was replaced under warranty, and the car is still working great, no problems.
Asking $11,000. This is what I've been offered as trade-in, plus the cost of fixing the cosmetic issues. I'd prefer to sell it to an i-club buyer than let it go to auction or whatever. Since I'm buying another Subaru soon, I can probably help arrange financing for you through the dealer. Basically, I trade it in on my new ride, and you get to buy it from them. I don't plan on keeping the car more than another two weeks, maximum, but I'll work with you within reason if you need some time..
Please refrain for tire-kicking, nit-picking, or telling me that the price is too high. Such posts will be removed.

There won't be a meantime. I can't turn it over to the new buyer until I get my wagon, but that should be a very brief interval. And thanks for the endorsement.
