The WRX suffered $2,400 of hail damage a couple weeks ago... I'm not familiar with any body shops in the area, however, and I'm wary of just going with one that Progressive "recommends."
Anyone have any shops that they swear by? Ideally ones that have some decent experience with our cars?
Thanks Kevin, I think I'll do that, having purchased the car from Huffines and all... so tell me something, in the six months that I've had the WRX I've been tapped a couple times by other cars in parking lots (or, more likely, by those parallel parking). These marks are relatively insignificant (no damage to the body itself)... any chance of getting that fixed up while the hail damage is getting repaired, all on the same ticket so my insurance covers it?

its possible, it just dpenend on how bad and the severity... if all your door requires is PDR, then you probably can work something out, if you obviously need paint work, then we can always give you a good deal.
When you come in, find me first and I'll get with you with an appropriate estimator that will handle whatever you insurance is.
They stopped counting my car's damage when they got to $5000 and totalled it. I think the actual damage was close to $7000. I was in the heart of the storm near Spring Creek and 75 and my car kinda looked like a beatup sheet of aluminum foil--nailed the windshield and a blinker, too. But all is well. Totalling that car is the reason I now have a WRX and can post in this forum with you fine folks.
I recommend Texas Body Works in Carrolton. Ask for Walt. He has a WRX as well, so he knows his way around the car. Or you can ask for Darin, the owner. Tell them Gary Lee sent you.
He did really good work on my car and paint matched everything perfectly on my Integra.
