i assume this won't fit the 05 STi with 08 STi tmic, correct?
Nope. Nor will your stock or aftermarket splitter.
The vents on the underside of your hood (about a 4" x 6" rectangle) splitter are probably over top the left side of the intercooler when the hood is shut. Therefore, those vents and our chimney would be useless.
The chimney allows air to escape in/out of the hood scoop splitter vents, while eliminating heat soak on your intercooler (left side).
