Wagon version of the STi?
If they released the wagon version that would solve all my problems cause right now I'm debating sacraficing the performance of the STi for the space of the new turbo Legacey but the STi wagon would have most of the power and performance of the STi sedan but with that little bit of extra space that everyone can use. But what I really want is the STi Legacey that would be money.

It's very simple really.
Step 1- Buy used 04 wagon. Buy new STi. Swap complete drivetrains in both cars. Sell "used WRX sedan" for about $20k (it will have near zero miles, plus the wing). Have coolest car you will likely ever see.
Step 2- ???
Step 3- Profit!!1!!1!!!11!!

STi wagon
There have been various STi versions over the years in different markets. It seems that since there hasn't been a consistent business case for the wagon in the home market, then a case for the US market would be even more difficult.
However, I think it makes sense that the Impreza might change it's mission in the next version. Possibly a hatchback style or some other variant to make tighter competition with the eurpean rally cars (since there is a hp limit, making the car smaller only makes it faster). That's just a guess on my part.
I would like to see more options in the next Impreza line. Like a few levels of WRX. The last time that the JDM had a STi wagon, there were no fewer that four distinct levels of STi, in various levels of performance, harshness and price.
