I think thats kinda ridiculous, at least, depending on the position level.

Women are allowed to wear dresses/skirts...

Agreed, here they wear tank tops and skirts then complain it's cold so the ac gets set to a higher temperature and the guys all die of heat stroke

Our contention was that management can't tell what we can/can't wear because that would constitute a uniform, and uniforms need to be provided.
