I have always used Rotella, and i've owned the car since I bought it (2008). My subaru dealer used to use Valvoline in their oil changes, and the service adviser there recommended rotella.

Loud idle, but it does the job. I used to track 3-4 times a year in Colorado and I haven't had a single issue yet.

Oh hai. Lemme guess. You must be a Rotella user as well.

I run inexpensive, high quality synthetic (WTF that means...another thread starter ) 40 grade (at temp) oil that *stays* a 40 for 6000 miles. Build your own conclusions.

<------- runs rotella T6 for 6000 miles w/o losing a drop
I'll just stop at that. I've seen enough T6 testaments.

Must've seen enough to try it...

Of course, enough to dump it...early. If I noticed a significant difference in pedal feel and lower MPGs after switching to T6 then something is not right . Although my engine is still mechanically and electrically sound because I've been monitoring it through logs.

Yep, and walked past the T6 as well, faster than I did with nine years on RP. I'm sorry that I'm not happy with T6.
