Swap Question

04 Rack and Pinion in 00 Body. GDB sterring rack in GC8. Will it work?

2004 Impreza
34110FE431 - Gear assy 2002-04, sedan, w/WRX STI
2000 Impreza
34110FA120 - STEERING GEAR Impreza; 4WD POWER

I have been searching and not getting any definitive finds.

Anyone?

You need to notch some stuff and possibly drill a few holes for the drivers side bracket, other than that, all g.

OK. Thanks! I will be doing this probubly early next year so thanks for the heads up. When i get started, ill post some pics here. and maybe help someone else thinking of it.

There seems to be an add-on you can buy for around $100 that can eliminate the need to weld on the rack.
