With just a downpipe and cranking up the boost, you can hit 265whp depending on what dyno, that may be low or high, I'm not sure. But if you wanna hit 300, you can run e85 by getting injectors and a fuel pump. An upgrade TMIC or going FMIC may be necessary to go e85 as well. You can hit close to 350 by changing to e85 but I'm not sure how close e85 is to your location. I plan on doing e85 since I have gas down the street and the gains are amazing, thats the reason I brought it up.

of course anybody feel free to enlighten me and correct me

Don't get too hung up on numbers. The dyno will break your heart. Stage 2 (which is a turbo-back exhaust and a tune) will make the car drive great and cost you a minimal amount. Most importantly I would try to maintain the OEM reliability of the car. It's also very easy to go back to stock for smog and etc.

The downpipe brand/type doesn't make too big of a difference except that catless will be loud, smelly, and cheap while catted will be more expensive, less smelly, and quieter. For the rest of the exhaust it just depends on how you want it to sound as long as it is 3" diameter (most if not all STI exhausts are). I would spend $2-400 which is what most good tuners will charge for a custom dyno tune.

One of the first power threads without them saying, "I'm on a budget and want 450whp!"

Thankful for that.

Good luck with achieving your goals, pretty easy.

Talk to some tuners on here that are local to you.
