No Boost

Ok first off I have searched!! I just bought my 05 STI about 3 weeks ago and the car was running great, till about 2 Nights ago i was driving home from work when i lost boost pressure, the check engine light was on and of course the cruse light was flashing. well when i got home i plug in my scan tool and code was to check the wastegate i checked it, and the Wastegate vaccum line was riped in half, i replaced the line and no more check engine light but the car still wont boost... i looked at every line i can think of but still nothing max pressure right now .07

Heres the Mods list if it helps
HKS catback
Tein coilovers with edfc
Apex Turbo Timmer
And DEFI Gauges.

any info helps thank you...

Were talking like 0 boost at all???????

I had the same thing happen to me as I was driving my brand new used subie home from the dealership.....

The hose from the turbo to the intercooler popped off, I have also had the hose from the intercooler to the throttle body pop off.

Other than catastrophic turbo failure I would think checking these two things and making sure your wastegate is not stuck fully open should at least produce a little bit of boost.

maybe you routed a boost line wrong? 8psi sounds like its only boosting wastegate spring pressure

You might have removed the vacuum line that contains the restrictor pill.

Look at the diagram near the bottom of this page and see if it's the line you replaced.

Re-set ECU
Then check for vacuum leaks again
You May have to pressurize your system to check for leaks. Some leaks you can't see with the naked eye.

also, you not only want to check the lines, but you also need to check the components that the lines are connected too. For example, Your lines may be fine, but your wastegate may have a leak and is not holding pressure.

yes problem was a vaccum line... only thing is the car was running about 20psi with little to no Turbo lag before the wastegate line riped. now the car hits stock psi but i can feel big difference in power with more lag?

Is there a restrictor pill in the STI????? If so did you ensure when you replaced the vaccum line the proper pill was in there? This is the line where the pill would reside....

Bet you its the restrictor pill that isnt in the line. Double check that before you boost and blow it up. Gotta have that in there
