If you go with an ecutek dealer I think it is going to cost you $100+ per re-reflash.
edit: Looks to me as if you want to go with Cobb, so if you get the reflash now, when you get a turbo you'll either have to get the accessport(I'd get it anyway), or send in your ecu with shipping will cost you $80. So I guess if you think having the extra HP until you get a turbo is worth the extra costs in the future then go for it, I would.

a turbo is going to be a little more then $400, but with the turbo, you would need a reflash as well. I would say go with the reflash first since that would be a step in the direction of a turbo swap
depending on your local shop, you should ask if there is a re-reflash fee thats cheaper then the initial reflash, so if later on down the road you can have it done when you swap the turbo.

400 will not be enough for a turbo, you should also buy new injectors and prolly a bigger i/c depending on what turbo you want
and like scott said, after the turbo you'll need a reflash anyways..
so as of now, if i was you i would get the reflash, then work up from there

Another vote for reflash...I had Cobb Stage 2 (loved it)...and am in the process of going to their VF34 map. You need a lot more cash for the turbo upgrade, and it's nice to have extra if crap goes wrong...
New VF34, local: $730
Used STi injectors, local: $300
Reflash: $20
Shipping to-fro from Cobb: $50
And I might be adding a fuel pump for piece of mind. Bottom line is, you won't be disappointed by stage 2 if you've got a turboback already.
