Slavery has been abolished for over 100 years in this country and yet people still want to pull the race card and play the victim. If you want your community to rise up, how about teaching your kids good values and morals. How about forcing them to go to school and get a higher education. How about policing your own community so gang bangers and drugs are looked down on and not glorified?
Its so much easier to just sit back and be frustrated and play the victim card because the other way takes too long and requires a lot of hard work from an entire community.
Does the police culture need to change? Ofcourse but it won't happen just because you riot and ***** and moan. Get your kids to go to school who want to be a police officer. We've got so many grants in this country to try and help minorities get better education and help raise them up in society but selling drugs and getting that instant gratification is so much easier than going to school for 4-8 years and getting a degree.
There's absolutely no sense of responsibility with the youth. Everything is someone elses fault. They didn't give me the job because I'm black.. no they didn't give you the job because you can't speak english coherently and you showed up to the job interview in a hoodie repping your colors. It's ridiculous.
I've actually just sat back and bit my tongue when most people are talking about this issue because its too easy for them to say "you're racist". Facebook is filled with so many white guilt posts from my friends. "We don't condone the violence, but we understand" is probably the biggest copout I've seen posted on facebook.
