Anybody have any experiences with 80% lower receivers? Crowdfunding sites have them going for like $25, unanodized and made from aircraft grade 7075.

I've never built one, but it's supposed to be pretty easy. Solar Tactical in Livermore has build parties for AR's and AK's

Markleys right now has a DDM4V7 for $1425. Good price?

Also how does the rail on that gun work if I were to want to put an AFG on it?

I own a V7. The rail is modular on that model. You can move the small piccatinies around tp where ever you need. Stock configuration is all the way up front to the right, left and botton. However, I don't use any foregrips or bipods...soooo I haven't had the need to move them yet I just have a flash light mounted right now.

If you want, I can take close up pictures of the handguard and rails if you like.

Ya saw those a few days ago. ****ing outrageous.

So if you own a pre-ban mag thats 10+ round... it would then be illegal to own it.

The ammo "permit" bothers me too since it says you would have to PAY for it every year...WTF?

I mean ALL of those things bother me...

Agreed.

Its only going to make things harder for law abiding citizens. If you're a criminal, why would they care, if anything, they would like these laws as it would make it harder for people to fight back/protect themselves.

Assembly Bill 180 (Bonta) repeals California's firearm preemption law by granting Oakland an exemption to enact unique laws regarding possession, registration, licensing and subjecting gun owners to unknowing criminal liability when travelling through Oakland. AB 180 passed in the state Assembly by a 46 to 29 vote.
So would this mean Oakland can ban all gun and/or implement "special" rules where if you are not a resident, but happen to drive through it and get stopped...you go to jail for possession? I can see Oakland PD having road blokc and check points at every highway exit...

I would have to say that it would not apply to those who are not residents - that's retarded. Just like CCW - regardless of where you get it, it is legal everywhere in the state that carry is permitted - looks like I need to get moving on getting my CCW before they start going after that too.

Just came from the machine shop picking up my brembos and they were fabricating some lowers.
