Borrow Stock Turboback for Smog? (For 07 WRX)

My buddy with a 2007 WRX needs to borrow a stock turboback so he can smog his car. He can give you cash as a deposit until he's done with it!

Does anyone have one they can part with for a week or so?

If your buddy calls Mert over at RBMS he has my stock downpipe at the shop. As long as he has Mert install and uninstall it, and uses the smog shop that is 2-3 doors down. He can just use it free of charge. That's why its there.

I guess if I spend copious amounts of cash money at a business establishment, I would like to think I would get occasional freebees or assistance as there as established relationship...all other instances, pay the eff up foo'!

I'll definitely keep that in mind if we can't find anyone with a full TBE a bit closer to the South Bay. But that actually sounds really convenient, I'll let him know, Thanks!

I'll be installing my aftermarket DP this weekend, so I'll have a full turbo back available for him. I'm in SJ so we can meet up. send me a PM so we can get details figured out.
