I use Quaker State Q Performance whatever oil...5W30...$3.99 at Checker's.

However, I read a study that any oil that is certified by the API gave the same wear and tear protection on a study that Consumer Reports did using New York City Cabs...so yeah anything that is rated by the API is good to go.

i know this has been covered before.... but i can add this...
even with synthetic- i still burn about a quart and a half with every oil change-
i have used 4 different types of synthetics....

not all synthetics are the same- i have had good results with royal purple and mobil 1

Redline Good stuff! Figure if they put it on jet turbo engines then it's got to be damn good!
