Q. What is the measurement difference that makes it short?
A. Approximately a 30% reduction in the shift throw for WRX Impreza, Forester and Legacy models and 10% reduction in shift throw for WRX STi. Additionally for WRX STi, the amount of lateral play in the shifter is minimized.

Q. What material are they made of?
A. The shifter is made of the same materials as the stock unit.

Q. What benefit will this have on my car?
A. A quicker, crisper shift will be felt.

Are the control arms from a GC/GM/GF or GG? If so they will fit. If they are from a GD they will only fit the GD.
