Hey guys i was wondering if there are many autocross events coming up in the Sacramento area. I'm sure there are, I just dont know where to find out about them so Id thought i should ask you all to see if you know of any.

If there isnt any coming up I think we should organize one, because that would be so much fun.

A group of us (mostly Nissan guys) will be going on April 16th. I think there are a few SRIC guys going on the 17th.

There's also a Porsche club that does their own thing, but I usually tag along with a friend who's a member.

There's a mixed range of experience. It also partly depends on what class you're in. Most likely you'll be in STX modified class which has a good amount of competition, both experienced and new. I'm fairly new myself. My advice would be to go at it in your first season with the intention of trying to become a better driver, learn the techniques, and get the hang of it.

i'll be there both days with one or two other guys. i went to the practice session about a month ago. that was my first event ever. loved it. can't wait to get back out there. it's really a lot of fun and i highly recommend it. the experience level varies a lot but everybody has a great time. it's in stockton so it's a little far but you should go, it's worth it!

I wish i could go and check that event out, but I'm going to visit cal poly on the 14th 15th and 16th =(

there is an event on sunday the 17th as well. i will be there along with a couple other people from the sac area.
