$4000 to buy a new car? What would you buy?
So lets say I sell my WRX *cry* and have about $4000 in cash left over to buy something used. What would you suggest I buy?

It kind of depends on your needs....
If you want something quick but economical I would look at a A2 Volkswagen (Golf/GTI) you can get one that is really nicely done up for $3000.
