Guys:

I've got 15 apps to a party to support the CarolinaRS ProRally team at a restaurant in Folsom called 'Mask'. Showing up to the party does not mean you'll spend money, however you'll have to pay for some grub if you eat, and your drinks.

It'd be sweet if we could get a good showing out there and it should be fun. The driver and codriver will be at the party.

Post if you'd like to attend. Starts at 6pm.

You don't have to pay $51. You don't have to buy anything at all. If you get something, grab an appetizer or whatever. There's no minimum charge at all.

Last night was a blast. Wendy and Matt send their thanks for us showing up. Paul and I donated a bit and scored a sweet Subary ProRally calendar, Paul got a tshirt and magazine, and I got a JDM WRC car.

And man were those cheerleaders ever hot. Was a fun night :)

For those of you that suck and missed the event last night, there will be another event at ICON in a month or two. There are supposed to be about 1,000 people there and that will be the "subaru party". As I understand it there will be photographers there, we'll get front parking to show off our cars, and there will be more cheerleaders there too. I think they might end up taking pics with the cars. Once I get invites and dates for that one, I'll make another thread. If we could, I'd like to get everyone that we can to go to that. It should be awesome.

Just be careful on those RE92s, I almost killed myself on them the other day. I guess I got too used to running on 070/Azenis (Azenii?).

We're getting on 5 north and I get strong Ka, building, so I tuck in to the slow lane and back it off, while Matt in the screaming Yellow Zonker™ downshifts and blares off in the fast lane down the onramp, Perrin screaming.
I see a Crown Vic start nudging out about 4 cars behind me, so I get over in the fast lane and tootle along to block, since otherwise Matt's getting popped instantly. There's a ton of semis on 5 NB, so I slot in the only hole and match speeds; there's nowhere for the cop to go but around the right, and a horse trailer was moving just perfectly so that the cop couldn't get back on 5 and got forced to exit into downtown.

Meanwhile, Matt's still oblivious that I tossed the battlewagon into harm's way to keep him from getting tagged, and is tootling along at 80 in the fast lane on 5 ;)
