Talking VF34 Turbo Package

any one know if this setup will make about a good 320whp or will it atleast beat an evo viii, sti and/or srt-4??

what i have on now:
Cat-back Exhaust
Helix Dp
Perrin Up
Injen Cai

If i can beat an sti, evo, and/or srt-4, i will get VF34 Turbo Package that includes Sti Inj 550cc, Walbro FP. And get a Utec. Will i be able to hang with them or better or what else do u guys suggest for $2,500.00 to spend?? I'm already getting JIC FLT-A2 Coilovers becuz i'm running on tein springs and they've on for more than 30,xxx mi.so i would like to get a new set of suspension or a new turbo or something.thanks in advance

with the vf34 setup, you should look at around 250-300 (at most), it all depends on tuning, and with around 270 whp, you can be sure you can whop all three of the vehicles that you have mentioned above, that is if you assume that they are all stock. The evo and STI with the up, down pipes and a reflash will be likely to top you off. >< and im not too sure on the srt4 ... i think they'd need better traction if they want to get that power to the ground. there's my 2 cents

Cobb Accessport!!! They claim they can get you 315hp with 91 octane or 320hp with 93 octane with the VF34. I have the normal Stage 2 and it is well worth the $$$.

http://www.cobbtuning.com/wrx/accessport/

P.s. lose the intake, this is with the stock intake and a K and N filter.

Sorry That might be brake horsepower.

gruppe-s's new turbo package...i think its gt3035 or 37..i forget but hold to your money first and research because...vf34 are becoming more common..and im pretty sure this turbo is bigger and faster............................................ ...............................................but then again I read more into your post..and I would definitely suggest coilovers...(JIC's/CUSCO/HKS/TEIN)..

with fine tuning, the vf34 can go up to 300, that's with a linksys standalone ( PITA to tune ) and i would recommend xs utec, and have different maps. and as far as the larger turbos go, the vf34 is basically maxing out the EJ20. the pistons are real weak in the ej20 and with more boost, your most likely to blow the piston ring so if you wanna go with a bigger turbo, you will have to worry about getting in piston heads, connecting rods, a 6spd tranny, axels, and you might wanna think about break, either upgrading to stop tech big brake kit, or you can just change the pads, get SS break lines and slotted rotors.

The max WHP for that setup will really depend where it's being measured, what octane fuel and what dyno type. For example we rate the VF34 kit as a 350hp kit based on at the crank not at the wheels and typically see between 235whp and 275whp depending on whether the car is catless or not and IC type (TMIC or FMIC).

No,, 320whp with this set up nope, I say something on dyno dynamics of 235-240whp sounds more resnoble I think thats like 270-285 whp on a dyno jet.

Not to be a samrt a$$, but all the power in the world isn't going to help if you can'nt drive. Not saying you can't (I don't even know you), it's just something for a 19 year old to think about before bolting in 320 HP.
just my 2 cents.

you can beat any of those cars with a little bit more then a stage 2, STI being the fastest.

But remember there will always be someone faster. Any of those cars that have gone through any kind of build time will pretty much kick the living crap out of your car, SRT-4 included.

Wise man said: It's more fun to drive a slow car fast than a fast car slow. You're just the age where I had my first major colision street racing. I'm lucky to be alive. A well set up stock RS will beat a 300 HP turbo version easily on an auto-X course under most conditions. Crazy HP is unusable on the street unless you act like an assclown, whereas picking up skills will benefit you al your life.

Fix up the suspension, and log some serious track time with an instructor. - Then go for mad HP.
