Getting ready to put in my BPM Mkiii Twister Turboback exhaust and have a few final questions.

I have the torque settings for the DP to turbo bolts, but I was wondering if there is any certain order I have to torque down the bolts?

Are there any special tools I'll need other than normal ratchets, sockets, wrenches, wire snips (for heat shield), liquid wrench, and torque wrenches?

Are there any specific torque settings for the heat shield?

How many bolts are there for the heat shield? (I have heard numbers ranging from 5 to "about 7")

Try to torque the DP bolts in an alternating pattern. At least that's the general consensus.

Get yourself a 14mm flex socket. It will save you untold grief and frustration.

Just get the heat shield bolts tight. I don't know what your DP looks like, but you may have to modify the heatshield to get it back in. I think there are at least 6 bolts, but I put mine back in with only 2 and it is tight. I only have the one above the downpipe and the one just under the IC left. They more than do the job. I installed my Vishnu DP last Friday and it took nearly as long to get the heatshield back on as it did to get the DP in itself! Lining up the heatshield holes is a major PITA!

Currently I have no heatshield. I need to cut into it before I put it back on because the wastegate part of the new DP gets in the way and I have no dremel or snips... Otherwise, I have only GREAT things to say about the BPM Twister MkIII! However, don't get it if you like a quiet car. The wife has no love for the BPM :D
