Questions - Hood scoop and spark plugs

Hi guys, I guess everyone is driving their cars today that is sunday and its a sunny amazing day.
I have a few questions.
On the hood scoop, it seems to be covered by a solid plastic plate, wich it does not allow air to flow into the engine. Does this make any difference? If taken off, how much dirt, water, grut would get in? Pro's and Con's in taking it out...thanx

2nd Question, it has some new NGK spark plugs, but I was planning in putting the Bosch 4 platinum plugs. Now, is there a big differnece between have 4 to 1 electrode?

i am planning in upgrading the ignition wires to Magnacor Wires

so I was wondering which plugs would be the best for this situation.

How about the Denso Iridium plugs?

well i really cant say much bout the scoop but from what i have heard it doesnt really hurt anything but of course will dirty the engine up a bit. As for the plugs stick with NGK either coppers or V-powers. They will do the best for you. Platinums will last longer but thats about all they will do.
