Hey northeast Kansas people,

I'm looking to buy an '04 WRX in the next few months and thought I'd poke around for some user opinions on where to go. I'm not exactly looking for the best price (that'd be nice), as I am more concerned with good service and support after the sale. I've talked to the salesmen at the Olathe and Topeka dealers about a year ago, though I just realized there's one in Lawrence also. I live in Subaru-less Manhattan and often drive to KC on the weekends so I'm pretty flexible. Any chance of a dealer providing a loaner vehicle for warranty work?

Anyway, if you've got any good/bad experiences I'd love to hear them. Also, feel free to email if you'd rather not post publicly.
Thanks and hopefully there'll be a new sliver WRX on the road soon. Or maybe black, I can't decide...

Darin

[note: I also posted this in another forum but figured I might get a better response here, so sorry about the doublle post]

Go to jack miller Subaru in Olathe or North KC MO, They have the largest selection of Subies in KC. I did business with a gentleman by the name of Brian Hildabrant at the north KC dealership. He let me drive the crap out of a WRX before I decide to buy one. One hell of a salesman, he let me do anything I wanted so I would be satisfied with my purchase. If you decide to buy one for there use me as a recommendation to Brian he may work out a better deal for you because my whole family drives Subies, and my father is friends with the owner.

I'd suggest Travis Subaru in Norman OK.

Ask for John or Paul Brockhaus...

They worked a killer deal on my 02 WRX and have a good deal in order for an 04 STI when available.

I also bought my car from Brian hildebrandt. Great guy did all our negotiating through...e-mail. IT was a heck of a trek at the time for me also, so e-mail communication was great. But I have heard the north store, is more mod friendly. Had a bit of bad luck with the south store mechanics too. But their sales team is top notch. I walked in for some paper work 2 yeasrs after I had bought my '01 and they treated me like I was there to buy a new car.
