Car accident

Well I can honestly say this is my 1st real accident, I was driving on a side street in Laguna Beach, and there was a 4 way intersection, blind spot on my left, and no stopsigns for any direction, nor a yield, well I rolled into the intersection at about 9 MPH, and was struck on my left, by some girl in a VW Cabrio going 20, her front bumper got jacked, but I definately got the worst of it, it's going to be 8300 to replace the front bumper, fender, driver side door, and left passenger door, so it's pretty lame, plus my wheel was bent in, but I'm gunna sell it as soon as I get it, (I was selling the car at the time for 18K) so, what do you think would be a good asking price?

So you're going to sell it without making repairs? Is insurance going to cover it? If so, you would be better off taking the car to a body shop and having the repairs done under insurance. That $8,300 estimate you got is an intentional lowball to get you to take the cash, as most people do. If you get the car repaired I can guarantee that it will cost more than that. You would never get the same money out of the wrecked car (+ the $8,300) as you would a repaired one. In other words, there's no way you would get $10k out of that car as is.

It's getting fixed as we speak, should be done the 15th of Feb. Insurance is covering it, and the car has 22K miles on it, other than the obvious, the car is in mint condition, I had an offer of 19K before I got in the wreck.

Sooo, what do you think would be a good asking price? I was thinking around 17 or 16? There's no real internal damage. No, the side airbags didn't deploy, no she wasn't on her celphone, she was a blonde.

Ok, so my car is brand new and shiny, it just had all the bodywork completed, everything was replaced with OEM Subaru parts. Any takers?
