I need to get a boost gauge and narrowed to Defi's new D-Gauge and the OEM unit . Pros v. Cons? Also, is the OEM unit mechanical or electrical. Also, where is a good place to get gauges online (or in DFW, Tx). Thanks.

MrTouge 12-22-2004, 11:02 AM i just got one of these http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7941095191&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT man its sweet all the most of the pros of the defi with the price of the OEM greddy5 12-22-2004, 11:35 AM The OEM reads boost in bars and Defi's i think you can get to read in either bars or PSIs. The oem ones are mechanical so are the Defi's D guage series. mbquarts 12-22-2004, 02:27 PM The OEM reads boost in bars and Defi's i think you can get to read in either bars or PSIs. The oem ones are mechanical so are the Defi's D guage series. The oem gauge actually reads in mpa or megapascals. I would suggest finding a gauge that reads in psi b/c it is easier than converting in your head. 0.1 mpa=1 bar=14.5psi MrTouge 12-22-2004, 08:45 PM its not that bad tho. 0.1 bar=1.5 PSI but its what ever u feel like u want. i am not a big fan of bars but i love this damm gauge lol sigma pi 12-23-2004, 08:31 PM the stock three gague pack suck im old and cant read taht im gonna sell them sigma pi 12-23-2004, 08:31 PM haha why is there a shift light on a boost gague |
