How long to wait till you get pissed?
So I've been having this problem on my WRX with the fatory turbo. It went out on me at 49k (this was 8/22), and it just stopped working again, at 50,000 miles. The first turbo was diagnosed with faulty bearings and they replaced it no problem. I thought no biggie, the Subaru dealership which i bought my car from and get my work done at handled it well the first time. Not having a car is a bit of a hassle since i go to school 2 hours away, but i'd deal, shouldn't take too long, right?
I dropped my car off a week ago (9/24), and the dealership seems like they are taking their sweet time. I dropped in this morning when I got back into town (10/1), and my car wasn't even in the back bay. They have no idea what's wrong with the car and on top of that, they don't even really seem like they care.
During my conversations on the phone with the Service Manager, it seems like they are trying to weasel their way out of paying for another Turbo that they just replaced. First thing they brought up to me was that my intake box was not properly latched and how that could be detremental to the turbo blah blah blah. I had just preformed some routine maintnance on the car and a properly latched intake box for the 2 mile trip to the dealership was the last of my worries at the time, I wasn't getting any boost.
Second was my aftermarket BOV (Blitz SS). I had inspected this myself for leaks when the problem occured with my turbo, and found that it was still in perfect working order. They called monday morning and wanted to put a factory BOV on to see if it would make a difference. Like I said earlier, I go to school 2 hours away, and was carless at the time (still am). I inquired if they had one laying around they could put on and check, since mine was sitting in my closet. The Service Manager said yes, but that they would have to charge me for the price of a new BOV......... I was able to find a friend going back to houston that day and the dropped off the BOV monday afternoon.
Now it's Friday, and I've heard absolutely nothing from them unless it was me calling them or dropping by. What are my options here? I'm thinking of getting the car out of that dealership and taking it to another one here in town. Should I call SoA corporate office or is there anything they can even do? The way things are looking, it'll be ATLEAST another week before I get my car back.

I wonder if the oil supply line has a blockege wich caused the first to go and now has taken out the second. Have seen this on some old school models. Or maby just a boost leak. Good luck!!

My turbo was making this clacking noise at the top of the rev range, so I took it to the dealership and they treated me like an idiot. So I was like "It's still under warranty and I'll just drive the thing untill it breaks." Well at 30200 miles I went to work and this smoke was coming out of the scoop. Popped the hood, and low and behold, smoke was coming from the turbo itself. Its monday and it is time visit them. Im gonna drive the **** out of it and drop it off with smoke pouring out of my wrx and ill see what happens next.
