Come to a local meet and see what other owners have done to their cars. See the Meeting and Events sub-forum of the Bay Area (http://www.i-club.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=15) regional forum. UCKK (http://www.i-club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=49) is one of the bigger regular weekly meets in your area but there are other meets in various Bay Area locations.

i-Club has a search feature near top of each forum level page and an Advanced Search feature that can search all forums for more specific information. This will probably come in handy for you since many Impreza and WRX owners have had their cars for several years and they've asked and answered many common questions.
