I bought my 04 wrx without a spoiler but i installed a used stock spoiler without getting the torsion bars from the seller. I now need to swap out my torsion bars (which are for a lighter spoilerless trunk) for ones that are stronger and designed to support a trunk with a spoiler.

If you have a stock wrx spoiler from the dealership and took off the spoiler it would be a good idea for us to trade torsion bars. this is especially a good idea for people with carbon fiber trunks.

Also if anyone knows where i could get the bars for a good price let me know.

 

I might be able to help you out if you're still looking. i've got the exact opposite...had trunk with spoiler and swapped out to go spoilerless, and didnt change torsion bar so now i have a catapult trunk.

I've got a 02 wrx. If the torsion bars are still the same I'd be willing to swap it out. I tried to take them out when i first swapped trunks, but i was in a rush and didn't feel like potentially slicing up my hand.
