My Impreza TS 2.5 sport wagon has developed a little problem & I am hoping someone can help me. I can feel the car shifting and it has developed a bit of a hitch between 30 - 40 MPH. I brought it to the dealer & was told that it is normal and that this is a shift point and I should drive the car when I am at this slow speed in 3rd. How does an auto mechanic & Subaru of America complaints department both tell me that I should drive in third? The car according to the manuel has no overdrive & third is for climbing hills? Anybody else experiencing weird transmission problems? Did I as I believe get a stupid response? Please Help.... Thanks!!!

 

O.K. I admit while it seemed obvious to me, since no one has answered I assume everyone thinks I'm an idiot. I guess I forgot to mention the car is an automatic not a Standard shift. Please there has to be someone out there who has something to say?

 

Thanks, I'll take a look at those other sites... As for another dealer, I will try however, I actually went to Subaru of America's complaint line & they gave me the very same story.
