I was wondering if anyone knew how to disable the factory day time driving lights....

actually... i heard the real module is inside next to the glove box. take off the glove box and bottom half of the dash that holds the glove box. and disconnect a white plug that goes to i think a black box behind the blue one. I know someone has done it here. this is necessary if going HID since they still go on when you put the handbrake down. if not going HID then unplugging the harness in the engine bay is good enough.

When I turn on my HIDS I hear a click by the glove box

Turn on any lighting & you'll get that click from the glove box area. I'm guessing it's a relay.

The plug & module to disable the daytime running lights are under the hood - just in front of the passenger strut tower, under the black plastic cover. The scoobymods post should be fine for you to use - it's a 2 minute mod...
