I put a deposit down on a 2004 Forrester XT with manual trans. and a moonroof. The dealer tells me it's not available with the roof. Is this true?

This is true. But, you can get leather for about 1,000 from the dealership. The moonroof is HUGE isn't it?!

Thats too bad, in Canada, you can get XT with manual and moonroof is standard equipment.

XT models in Canada comes standard with moonroof regardless of transmission choice. The only option is leather or cloth seats.

I have heard that the 2005 will have the limited with the 5-speed. Not sure if this is true.

Don't know where you live, but the Subaru of Nashua has a Sub-contractor that installs the factory sunroof components into a stock car. Full warranty. Good quality as well from what I hear.
