98 2.5 RS relibility past 140,000KM (87,000miles)
hi all,
First post here, and I am looking at a 98 2.5RS impreza, unfortunatly it has 140,000 km's on it. Is this alot for a subaru, how long have they been known to last, and would i be advised to buy this car, or should i be looking elsewhere, perhaps for one with fewer miles?

unfortunately, I don't own a Subaru. but I'm sure someone should be able to expand on this.
I would probably not get this car, though. 140,000km is a lot of mileage for a 1998. (a little over average). and just a lot in general.
the Phase I engine (the one in the 1998) has had a few headgasket problems.
