I see a blue wrx sedan with white renzos all the time in Auburn. Also so a silver one with rotos quiet often. Also see about a million other imprezas everytime I leave the house. Damn, the explosion is ON. Mine is almost stock now and lame pretty much.

Just this last week I've been seeing a silver 03 WRX sedan with a spoiler and snowboarding rack parked at my office complex (3300 Douglas Blvd.).

I also saw a blue 04 WRX heading towards davis on 80 (I think you were coming from the Truxel onramp) on Friday (4/9) at about 6:30 PM.

Saw 3 STis tonight while going to see my friend play in a poker tournament... blue one at a gas station somewhere on greenback, black one on 80 around lincoln, and a white one parked at the Lucky Derby where my pal was playing. Saw a "bug-eye" red WRX sedan yesterday. The drive looked pretty young, not sure if he was into the whole tunning scene, but he was diving the other direction so I didn't get a chance to talk to him

Anyways, another sighting. A blue WRX, 04/05 on the corner of Douglas Blvd and Sierra College Blvd. I believe that the driver works at the newly opened Block Buster in front of Safe Way. It looks pretty stock, but it does have a Wings West spoiler (and for those of you who do not know what that looks like, it looks almost like the STI spoiler but only the legs touch the trunk, there is no bottom blade that goes across the trunk)

I was driving down sunrise at highway 50 and I passed by Earl Schieb paint. Pulling out of the drive was an Acura Integra with a fresh paint job. I just got this new camera phone so I snapped a shot of it, I love this thing! I guess this is old Earls idea of world rally blue: I call it the Earl Schieb World Rally Wannabe....ricer!

By the way, the paint looked decent from far away but up close evrything it reflectd was cloudy and sort of grainy. Probably a $299 street racer special.

Saw a few stock looking wrexes today along sunrise. tried to catch up to a san remo red wrex on sunrise but couldnt.

Haha, I was at a light on folsom blvd between sunrise and zinvindale and this old beat up eclipse pulled up next to me. I looked over then the guy driving it revved up his engine and showed me the extreme power it requires to spin a fwd car, spun his tires and let me hear his bov. I was like so impressed i wanted to ask him if he knew how to convert my awd to fwd so i could spin tires easily like he can. I also wanted to ask him how much he loved that great torque steer he is blessed with! I really wish we were on track at that moment, the things I would have taught him.....

I can spin the front tires on my moms ford windstar :)

On the way home from the Concert??? I left that around 10:20pm or so... so if you did too, then that was me. My windows are blacked out, I have a Skunk2 exhaust, and my plate is RSA WRX... and from 65 I went left until I got to Sierra College Drive, I had to drop off a friend in Loomis before I could make it home.

About a 2 weeks ago I faced some guy in a WRX at a stop sign in Elk Grove (Bradshaw and EG BLVD) and he flashed his lights at me. Was it anybody here?

I was coming from Grant line towords the roundabouts. He turn left onto northbound bradshaw. I'm in a Black '05 STi with paper plates.

I saw this silver bugeye wagon (love the bugeye wagons) driving north on sunrise blvd about 1pm today. I was right next to him in a sweet white dodge intrepid. I was delivering a completed car back to folsom lake dodge. Too bad I wasnt in my silver bugeye, we could have been a family:(

Oh and later on, about 4pmish I was driving north on sunrise and saw this thing ablazing. Had to get some shots. i drove out pretty close to it. it appeared to be a pretty good size brush fire. As far as any structures involved I dont know. I didnt want to get too close, afraid some piece of ash would get on my baby.

Probably a Impreza TS, stock color and stock foglight covers for that model. Did you notice a hood scoop?

If he's got a scoop, it's aftermarket. TS's had 15" steel wheels, and are the only new-age cars to come in any sort of green.

I'm still gonna guess its just a TS. The thing about Impreza's (esp. wagons for some reason) is that you see them so often with a hoodscoop, you might not even notice when its missing.

Except for the hoodscoop, you described a TS to a t (even the female driver part, I've rarely seen a guy drive a TS).

I saw lots of rexes today! I was in the bay area earlier this afternoon.

Pulled up next to a black bugeye wagon, looked like STI scoop, maybe lowered. We were merging onto 580 from 980 (i think). I took the turn on the on ramp alittle too fast. It was an advised 45mph turn and I went into it at 90 from the inside lane to the outside. I felt my rear loosen up a bit but nothing the old rex cant hang with. I may have been showing off a bit to the other rex:)

Later I was stuck in traffic on 24 close to a black bugeye sedan, looked stock, guy driving it.

About 1:30 I saw two WRB STI's driving west on I-80 outside of Davis. The second one was wingless.


I suppose these werent all sacramento sightings but they were sightings by a sacramento local.

ok, I have seen this WRX twice now in the past 2 nights.... it is a White Bug Eye sedan in the Citrus Heights/Fair Oaks/Orangevale area.... both times I have seen the car, its been at night and we are going different directions.... for the couple of quick glances that I have gotten, it looks nearly identical to mine (I could be wrong, but that is what it looks like). The only thing that it looked like it lacked was the STI Replica Mesh Fog Covers..... crazy, I would like to get a better look of this car in the day time to see if we match....

Oh hey Sybir, if I don't remember, could I get some more of those flyers for the Subaru Specialist BBQ next meet? That way if I see a fellow Subaru parked somewhere, I could place it under the wiper or something....

Saw a silver WRX sedan, looked like a bugeye but I could only see it from behind. It appeared stock from what I could tell on the outside. It was parked in front of a chinese restuarant near the corner of Hazel and winding way. I'd say it was around noon.

three sightings today just before 1pm...

2 dark blue bug eye sedan RS, one at the intersection of Sierra College Dr and Douglas, the other at the intersection of Hazel and Greenback.

the third sighting was inbetween the other two in the stretch of road where Sierra College Dr becomes Hazel Ave, Blue STI on golds....

Not riced out enough, as the exhaust still ain't on.......

However, I had to remove one of my favorite suspension mods, the Dynamic Camber Change feature on my right front. The occasional squeaking from that corner, that everyone thought wasn't a wheel bearing? It ended up being a wheel bearing in critical condition, blown completely apart, with almost half an inch of side to side play in the hub assembly.......
Good thing I caught it, I swapped out the hub last night at the shop and it's good as........errr, whatever a hub from the yard is ;)

So now, the right front can't go +/- 2 degrees to follow the road, but I'll accept the loss.............:p

And I have headers on, but no exhaust (shut up, Kevin ;)) becuase the N1 wouldn't even come close to bolting up with a few mods, and we're going full custom after getting settled in the new shop.

Saw a WRB WRX on Auburn Folsom near the dam and exchanged waves around 3:30pm. Saw a PSM wagon on Douglas in Granite Bay a few minutes later. You were trying to cross traffic from the new development.

4 today: A white bugeye wagon with a full body kit, looked sharp driving down fair oaks near oak. I gave a wave and recieved one. Then a black bugeye wagon with unpainted morette headlights turning onto sunrise near the kinkos between madison and greenback (not sure what the streets called). I yelled out, "yea buddy" as you drove by. Blue bugeye sedan parked at the goodguys on sunrise. Another blue sedan not sure what year, looked lowered and had some aftermarket wheels, turning towards tower records from sunrise.

at 1:06pm today saw a black 04-05 STI coming down bond road towards the 99.

Saturday, I was driving alongside an 04 silver STI north on sunrise from rancho cordova up to greenback or so. There were two young guys in it. I gave the salute and was given one in return.

Today i saw a blue STI parked at some business in the middle of nowhere alongside I-80 just before kidwell road. I was driving too fast to make out the name of the business. The STI definitely looked out of place, I could tell that.

It got on 80 from northgate and then got off around raley blvd. I tried to get the guys attention since I too was in a PSM gugeye sedan, but either he didnt notice my rolling my window down at 80mph or was too cool with his body kit for me.

Live near EG Blvd and Bradshaw. I work in Roseville and use sunrise/grantline to commute so that sounds like me.
