Anyone happen to know what the offset is for the 03 X?

Wifey has one and I'm getting new wheels for my WRX and was going to swap her steel wheels with my old wheels. Just wanted to make sure that the offset was the same or close to it. Would be a massive dissapointment if I do the swap and find out that it isn't what it's suppose to be.

TIA. :D

You can use WRX or STi offsets. Personaly I'd stick to rims that are "approved" for use on the STi as they all tend to be wider, they all can fit the stupidly huge brembo caliper, and it only limits style choice not anything else.

Sounds good to me. The swap will be happening within a month (that should be about the time my new wheels get in) :D

Thanks again.

Forester= +48mm

WRX= +53mm

So the stock WRX wheel will stick out a little bit more than the stock Forester wheel. I think I can live with that, and I think she could live with it as well. Thanks for all your help. :banana:

All other things being equal, a +5mm offset will place the wheel 5mm (1/5") closer to the shock. While this won't be a problem with the stock 215/60-16 tire, rubbing may occur if upgrading to 235 or wider rubber.

What kind of off set would work for a 15X9 wheel for 245's? Any feedback is appreciated.
