MY04 Now or wait for MY05? Price Issue
I was planning on purchasing a sedan in the second half of April, but now I hear that the MY05's are supposedly going to be rolling out in June.
Since the "improvements" are not completely factual as of yet, my main concern is of price. I was planning on getting the MY04 for around $24,xxx OTD (Out The Door).
My main question is, since MSRP of the MY05 is supposedly pretty much staying the same, will I be able to get the same type of deal or will the dealerships be stingy since it's a brand new model year?
I don't currently have a car (military) and don't really "need" one, but damn if I miss driving. Plus I've wanted a WRX since before they were even here so I have very little patience for something like this that I can finally afford.

If you're in the military, don't forget to ask the dealer if they offer a military service discount...
From what I've heard the only difference might be a new color option and very minor interior changes (I heard they're thinking of offering a better OEM radio)... As for price, newer is always going to be slightly more expensive than older year models, even if there are no major changes. I'd expect at least a difference of $1K

just keep in mind that the 05 models are coming very soon... it all depends on your dealer how they want to "move" inventory
check out consumer guide and kbb.com... they will give you an exact figure on what 2 pay

I'm also a bit concerned with the interior redesign. The current one has been the same since '02 so there are a few mods and such (also diy) out already. Plus with the possible GM influence, I'm afraid to see what they did.
I'm currently checking around the area (Dallas, TX) to see what sort of deal I can get. If it's good enough, I'll go ahead and get one now.
