I have a 2003 Forester XS and need high performance front brakes. I found the rear brakes at Tire Rack, but don't want to replace my rear's yet- they still have life on them. My front brakes on the other hand have very little life left. I don't ride them like a granny. In fact I engine brake a lot trying to save my brakes. Looking for semi-metallic brakes. I had Hawk HPS on my last car, but can't find them for my Forester. I looked all over the net. The only brakes I found were at Cobb Tuning- Stage 1 Street Performance Pads. Are these good? What material are they? Noisy? Dusty? Lifespan? Need help. I don't want to put the factory brakes back on.
