where to buy heat sensative paint for brake rotors

okay, i know DBA uses this stuff on their rotors so it exists. what i'm looking for is heat sensative paint that you can apply to sections of your brake rotors that will discolor when it reaches a certain temperature. pretty much everyone that knows me knows that i've been having pretty serious brake fade issues, and since i'm moving up to Subaru 4 pots, i want to make sure that i go with a pad thats going to work in the temperature range that my rotors see when i'm driving hard.

so, where does one buy this stuff? i can't seem to find anything on Google (save for DBA ads) or using the search here...

its pretty damn hard to use a pyrometer when you're driving. the nice thing about the paint is that it provides you information on how hot your rotors were on the track/road (peak temp) as opposed to how hot they were in the pits or on the side of the road after you pulled over to use the pyrometer.

the idea behind the paint isn't that you look at it while driving. the paint is heat sensative, and changes color on the rotors when a certain temperature is reached. once your session is over, you can look and see if your rotors exceeded the temp range of the paint.

as for the paint burning off after a track day, i don't know. however, you can always re-apply it. this is a pretty tried and tested method of finding a pad that works in the temp range that you need.
