WRX parts for 2.5RS?

Well guys, I just registered and I am looking for some info on some parts that someone is trying to sell me for my 99 2.5RS coupe. Well he told me to pick out all the parts that I wanted. I just wanted to know what would fit on my car. He says that he is pretty sure that most of the parts will fit but I would like to get some more info from other people ahead of time. Would these parts work with on my 2.5RS with no problem?

Intake manifold
throttle body
turbo (VF22)
all the turbo piping
top mount intercooler
exhuast manifold
Heads
Cams, valves, and housings (converting to DOHC if possible)
BOV

Well guys, just let me know what you guys think, any expert advise? I keep on hearing that EVERYTHINGF basically fits with no problem. Thanx for the advise anyone who replies to this...

theres a thread on nasioc that says that the intake manifold bolts up and if that bolts up then the throttle body isnt a problem. The turbo piping will work if you get a wrx crossmember or a legacy turbo cross member. the ic should fit and the heads and cams should bolt up to your ej25 block but i dont see why you want to do that, the sohc heads are supposed to flow better than the dohc heads. i think you should search around more before you dive into this go to impreza.net and rs25.com and do searches, oh yeah the 99 intake manifold should work with wrx injectors.

Thanx man, I have been looking up some info on all of this but it is difficult to find. The guy that is selling me all the parts told me that he is practically willing to sell me everything from the engine, cuz he has 2 complete engines with tranny (one with a blown rod). He has all that i mentioned above and more, practically anything I need to turbo my 2.5RS. Well thanx again, hopefully i get some more feedback.

The turbo. intercooler and piping should all fit. If you have the wrx headers (exhaust manifold) and the wrx or turbo legacy crossmember. The RS crossmember doesn't make room for the up pipe. But you would probably need a boost controller cuz the 2.5 rs block doesn't hold up with high boost on daily driving. I'm also not sure if the 02 sensors in the cat of the RS will work with the 02 ports on the wrx down pipe. I had this similar idea for turboing my car as well.

Oops I posted this without refreshing the page so i didn't see those previous replys, sorry for saying redundant info.

The intake manifold doesn't fit on your heads, but if he is selling his heads too, it doesn't matter. I would buy as much of his motor as he will sell you and bolt it to an EJ22 or EJ25T shortblock, then swap it in your car. You will need a WRX or Legacy turbo crossmember, as was already said, and you'll have to wire it in (preferably with a reflashable turbo ECU). But, it's a quick way to a very strong motor.

Thanx guys, but i just wanted to know if was going to have to swap my block (which i dont want to) if i was going to put some other stuff like heads, intake manifold and so on. I am more concerned about the turbo and intercooler and piping that heads and cams (i rather leave the stock heads on there). I am going to look if he has a crossmember available too. I dont have too much money to be swapping too many things onto my car or paying for all of that to be done. I am getting an awesome deal on everything that he is giving me, i just dont want to buy everything and findout it all doesnt fit with ease. If you guys have more info let me know please. Thanx

The bolt pattern on the heads/manifold is different. Technically it is the TGTV housing that is different on the turbo manifolds. You can make a WRX intercooler fit on an RS manifold by modding it, but it's easier to get a custom RS intercooler to work. I'm going to do things the hard way by having custom TGV housings made so that I can bolt a WRX manifold to my SOHC heads. Basically making an adapter for them.

then without changing manifolds what is easier front mount, top mount custom made, or modding WRX intercooler?

An intercooler made for an RS is easiest, followed by modifying the WRX intercooler (it's really just trimming the flange at the throttle body and adding mounts) then the front mount. Frontounts require more fabrication from having to cut the bumper, remove the fog lights, etc. Also the piping just doesn't have a good route.
