how it works:
The o2 sensor still gets the heat from the exhaust so it thinks its working properly but since the element isn't in direct flow of exhaust, it doesn't get a "full" reading of what's in the exhaust, therefore eliminating the CEL usually shown with aftermarket catless downpipes
