Ok, here's the deal. I've got a 02 WRX with these mods:

Intake
Up pipe
Turbo back Exhaust
SAFC
MBC
Unichip
EGT gauge

With those mods, I put a Unichip on and didn't notice much of a difference. What I want to know is this: Should I get rid of the Unichip and get a EBC or just stay with what I have? The reason I want an EBC is because I've driven my car in the rain and seen the boost hit 20 with the mbc. Not a good thing. Not only that but the new Greddy EBC looks sweet! So what do you think?

Ok, after looking around, I may go another route. How about selling my MBC, SAFC, and Unichip and just getting a UTEC from TXS? Sounds like a good program. Any thoughts?

Does anyone read this stuff in this forum? I know there are a lot of people that can give me their .02.

Go UTEC! Knock detection/retard, EBC functions with new firmware, user selectable maps, datalogging... What's not to LOVE?

The only thing is the price. I may only be able to come up with about $800. Gotta take some stuff out and sell it. Maybe I'll be able to get it eventually.

do u need an EGT with an UTEC? that could be your other dough

egt is good to hav if u plan on doing higer than stock boost...which most of u will. from wat i read, with just a mbc,
u definitely should have one.
