Hey guys I was wondering if it would be safe to use the stock exhaust with a VF34, STi Injectors, UTEC, and the Walbro Fuel Pump? I am buying all of these items in a couple days but I can't afford an exhaust system. Would I screw anything up using the stock exhaust or do you think it would be ok for a few weeks?

Thanks

why dont u just install your turbo in a few weeks.

a high flowing exhaust would be highly recomended with that setup.

Do you think I will harm anything if I install it with the stock exhaust?

it shouldn't harm anything, but you won't be able to make the full power that turbo will allow. I'm running a VF34 with a reflash on the stock turboback exhaust and everything is very safe, just not as powerful as it could be. An up-pipe would be a VERY good idea while you have the turbo out, makes the install much easier.

I was wondering the same thing. Only, I would actually like to run the setup on the stock exhuast permenately. Actually I have a 3" cat back. But here in Ca. you'll get hammered if you remove the cats. Plus, I really want to remain capable of passing emissions.

I wish I could figure out:
A: is it safe to run this set up?
B: how much power am I sacraficing?
