I posted awhile back that I am thinking of swapping my original 2.5 out of my '00 RS for one out of a turbo Forester. It has been brought to my attention that my stock crossmember won't work. Is it because of the headers or the oilpan or both? I guess what I am asking is what is involved in swapping the crossmember? Would it be easier to modify the turbo headers to clear the crossmember? Could I just modify my stock oilpan for the turbo? I need to get this stuff cleared up so that I can see what the true cost is going to be since I plan on doing this next winter/fall and have got until then to get tha cash together. Thanx man, I'm still kinda unsure on what I'm gonna do. I might just get the AVO turbo setup for my engine instead of swapping it out. I've still got my original engine that needs freshened and could build it for more boost later.
