I posted awhile back that I am thinking of swapping my original 2.5 out of my '00 RS for one out of a turbo Forester. It has been brought to my attention that my stock crossmember won't work. Is it because of the headers or the oilpan or both? I guess what I am asking is what is involved in swapping the crossmember? Would it be easier to modify the turbo headers to clear the crossmember? Could I just modify my stock oilpan for the turbo? I need to get this stuff cleared up so that I can see what the true cost is going to be since I plan on doing this next winter/fall and have got until then to get tha cash together.
