I jsut bought a pair of replica CF side markers and was going to install them. FIrst off they seem pretty flimsy, are all replica CF side markers just a piece of flimsy plastic with some 3M tape on the back? After one puts on the side markers, by taking off the 3M tape cover, what does one do with the bulb that used to be in the OEM side marker? Does one just leave it right where it is? I only ask because I'm a little worried about water. The OEM bulb has a gasket that seals tightly within the OEM orange side maker, and the new side marker just sticks to the car. So any insights you guy/gals might have would be greatly appriciated.

Thanks,

JJ

you have to take the whole plastic unit off and unplug the light...also when doing this clean the area after removing oe sidemarkers with rubbing alcohol or whatever you choose and as for water leaking in....haven't had that problem, im sure nobody else had that problem either...i think it all depends on how good of a job you do when putting the cf side markers on other than that it should be cool..
