Stock STi Tires

Hi i don't have any subarus... but i'm intrested in the STi tires and how well do they perform... coz i'm looking to buy some better tires and the STi ones doesn't look too bad...
Curently i'm on Potenza RE040... they are not bad but i'm looking for better ones...

Anyone with STi give some input about their stock tires?
BTW what kind of tires are they? Potenza ???

I can't remember exactly which tire they are but I know you can't buy them yet. Also they are 3 season tires or maybe in your case 2 season. But I bet you have a set of snow tires anyway.

They do look cool though.

They are Bridgestone Potenza RE070
225/45/17
They are considered a maximum performance summer tire only. I thought tire rack was selling them for $175 each.
I just sold mine off my STI last night. I have heard that they are quite sticky. I have a set of track wheels and rubber, and the stock tires would not have cut it in the rain for me during the winter.
