Hi im new to this board, i have a question...

Hi,

i was wondering....

for the 2004 impreza, is the STI one the only impreza with turbo? or is the second cheap one has a turbo too? so if i pop in a bov in the second cheap model it will still have that wrshhh sound?

The STi is not the only trim with a turbo, the wrx has one as well. Slapping a BOV on the STi or WRX will give you that sound, assuming you get a BOV that makes that sound instead of the high pitched vent.

Someone is gonna tell you this sooner or later. Do your research. Do a search on this forum and you will find the answer you a looking for. But here is some of the answers.

Impreza WRX 227hp turbo 2.0 liter engine
Impreza WRX STI 300hp turbo 2.5 liter engine

adding a BOV to either car will get you the BOV sound.
