1999 RS-T+10PSI+WRX Injector
Question for you guys who run 10psi and more of boost on WRX injector.
I have this setup on mi RS-T:
Lachute 2,5 Turbo/Back Exhaust
Borla Headers
Zero Sport Radiator Wind Deflector
Halley HP Fuel Pump (650 hp)
Cobb Tuning Cams
HKS Super Mege Flow Air Filter
HKS Intack
Go Fast Bits Blow Of Valves
ASR 2.25'' Up-Pipe
ASR 2.25'' Down-Pipe
WRX Custom Intercooler
Turbonetics (T3/T4 Garette) Turbo (SET AT 8.5PSI)
Turbonetics Delta Gate Wastgate
Bell Engineering Group inc. Rising Rate Fuel Pressure Riser
B&N Oil Engine Cooler
Unorthodox Racing Full Pulley Kit
APEX'i S-AFC
Split Second TMC1 (timing controler)
WRX 420cc Injector (not install for now)
Turbonetics MBC (set at 8.5PSI)
-For those who run 10psi and more, on 420cc WRX injector do you still using RRFPR???
-For those who run 10psi and more, on 420cc WRX injector and using APEX,i S-AFC, what kind of setup are you using??? What it look like???
-What I really want to know is, can I up my boost from 8.5psi to 10psi with my actual setup and by installing my 420cc WRX injector and kiping my stock internal engine???
-Do you think I will still safe at 10psi whit a good tuning setup???

I would go straight to STi injectors or even PE650s if I were you. That's a large turbo for the WRX injectors. We don't even recommend a VF30 on stock injectors.

I used to boost up to 8.7psi with stock injectors, RRFPR and forged internals, but the S-afc set-up was +50% all the way up after 3500rpm. This set-up was still running lean, so I upgraded the 550c.c injectors with fuel rails and a EMS. FYI: I blew my #3 piston with 11.6psi with stock internal, stock injectors, stock ECU.

It has a lot more to do with running too lean than it does with the actual power levels. You can make TONS of power on a Subaru engine with sufficient fuel and ignition capabilites. Even leaning out a stock-power WRX can blow it up.
Also, JST, I noticed you have a 2.25" up and downpipe. I would switch to a 45mm uppipe diameter, and 3" turboback. You will notice a lot more power and response with that setup.

Our old project 99RS used to run 19 psi for nearly 20K miles on stock injectors and a T3/T4 and he key to that much boost was in timing adjustment...an Apexi ITC let us taper timing off once boost came in and the revs climbed. Eventually though the motor snapped a rod but upon disassembly there were no signs of detonation...the pistons weren't chipped or pitted and had a nice uniform color to them. The rod simply wasn't strong enough for the stress. Once evaluated our engine builder noted that race prepped (coated/shot peened) stock rods would have likely kept the motor intact - so the motors are fairly strong in stock form. 19psi w/a supra TT pump, AFC and ITC (east coast so we had 94 octane at the pump) was seriously quick (STi V5 tranny helped too, teeny gearing hehe).
